Resurfacing the front garden and drive
Resurfacing of the front garden and drive at Shalom House
We are seeking funding for materials and labour to improve the front outside areas of Shalom House. The current surface of the carpark is uneven and not ideal for safe access or drop off of patients.
A flat surface would be much easier for those using wheelchairs, lifting equipment and for patients walking. Space within the current front garden, drive and carpark at Shalom House is not currently being used efficiently as it could be. The current garden area filled with planters and shrubs is difficult to upkeep and maintain and at times obstructs parking space. Our chosen contractor will remove the existing concrete, paving and shrubs and will resurface the carpark with tarmac and lay kerb edging.
We intend to make the area in front of Shalom appealing with colourful pots which will attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies.
Target Funding Required: £6335
